Udhampur, April 22, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said the government will make every possible effort to prevent incidents like the Pahalgam attack from recurring, asserting a firm commitment to maintaining peace and security.
Speaking to reporters on the first anniversary of the April 22, 2025 Pahalgam incident, the Chief Minister said questions related to intelligence inputs would need to be addressed by agencies concerned, but emphasized that the administration remains focused on prevention.
“That is something you would have to ask those who have access to such intelligence inputs. I can only say that we will make every possible effort to ensure that even if Pakistan attempts such attacks, we will not allow them to happen. That is our commitment,” he said.
