Three SSB Personnel Injured as Convoy Vehicles Collide Near Kelamorh Tunnel

Ramban, Aug 8, KNT: Three personnel of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) were injured after three vehicles of a convoy of the force’s 37th Battalion collided near Kelamorh Tunnel in Ramban district on Saturday.

According to initial information, the SSB convoy was travelling from Srinagar towards Jammu when the three vehicles collided with each other near the tunnel at around 11 am.

The injured have been identified as Constable/Driver Babu Lal, who sustained a head injury, and Pankaj Sharma and Jaman Kumar Nath, who suffered minor injuries. All three are personnel of the 37th Battalion SSB.

Following the accident, the injured personnel were evacuated to District Hospital Ramban for medical treatment.

Their present condition was not immediately available.
