Srinagar, May 12, KNT: A 20-year-old youth injured in a recent road accident at Sozeith Narbal on the outskirts of Srinagar has succumbed to his injuries, officials said on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Muzamil Ahmad Dar, son of Shabir Ahmad Dar and a resident of Zainakote Srinagar.
Officials said the youth had sustained critical injuries in the accident that took place at Sozeith Narbal and was undergoing treatment since the incident.
However, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries, officials added.
Police have already taken cognizance of the accident and further proceedings in the case are underway. [KNT]
