Labourer Killed, Four Injured After Fall at Cold Storage Unit in Pulwama

Pulwama, April 16, KNT: A labourer died and four others were injured after falling from a height at a cold storage unit in the Lassipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.

The injured workers were immediately shifted to District Hospital Pulwama, where one among them was declared brought dead, reports said.

The deceased was identified as Sajad Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Yousuf Mir, a resident of Ruhama Rafiabad.

The injured were identified as Jagpreet Singh of Amritsar, Ajaz Ahmad Kumar of Budgam, Hilal Ahmad Rather of Budgam, and Naseer Ahmad Mir of Baramulla.

Hospital sources said the injured were undergoing treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation. [KNT]
