Jammu, May 23, KNT: Senior BJP leader Ravinder Raina on Saturday alleged corruption in transfers and postings, claiming that his party possesses concrete evidence and that ministers were involved in the alleged malpractice.

Talking to reporters, Raina said the allegations were being made “with responsibility” and asserted that evidence could be produced if the government was willing to examine the matter.

“We have evidence of corruption in transfers. If the government wishes, we can produce evidence. We have concrete proof,” Raina told reporters.

He further alleged that ministers were involved in the process and claimed that money had allegedly been demanded or accepted in connection with transfers.

“There is involvement of ministers. We are talking with responsibility,” he said.

Raina said employees from whom money was allegedly demanded or taken, as well as those who allegedly paid money, could be produced before the Chief Minister if the government showed interest in investigating the claims.

“All the employees or evidence from whom money was taken or demanded or who gave money will be produced before the Chief Minister if he is interested,” he said.

The BJP leader, however, did not publicly disclose names, documentary proof, or specific instances while speaking to reporters. [KNT]
