Srinagar, April 15, KNT: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday announced a series of organizational appointments in Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect.
According to an official order issued by Mohammad Anwar Khan, the appointments were made in consultation with senior party leaders, including Sat Paul Sharma and Ashok Kaul.
As per the order, Danish Bhat has been appointed as the State Spokesperson of the party in Jammu and Kashmir.
Khalid Rathore has been named as State Co-Convenor for Urban Local Bodies (ULB), while Manzoor Ahmad Ganie has been appointed as State Co-Convenor for the Panchayati Raj Cell.
Danish Bhat, the former Srinagar Municipal Corporation Corporator, was earlier associated with the National Conference who later joined Bhartiya Janata Party.
The party said the appointments come into effect immediately. [KNT]
